| Harry's Hobbies & Collectables 250 E Main St Norton Ma 02766 1-508-285-8080 http://www.mymummy.com/harrysstore.htm By Karl D Dodenhof My local “Mom and Pop Hobby Shop” is Harry’s Hobbies and Collectibles, located in Norton, Mass., at exit 10 right off Route 495. I’ve been going there for years now and I’m on a first name basis with the owners, Harry and Katie. They are very active in the modeling community, and you can always find them at all the local shows. The shop itself is of medium size and it’s stuffed from wall to wall with every kind of model you could want. One thing I appreciate is that, since I’ve become a regular there the science fiction and space model section has grown considerably. There’s also a very good selection of paints and tools and even some aftermarket decals and photo etch sets, as well as Evergreen and Plastruct parts for all your kit bashing and scratch building needs. So if you’re ever driving down I-495 in southeastern Mass., make a stop in and say “Hi” to Harry and Katie, and tell ‘em Karl sent you! |
