Plus, everyone who enters and completes the contest will get a free bottle of paint. General Contest Rules and Guidelines The contest will run 90 days. ”Pedal to the Metal” runs from July 1st to October 1st, 2011. For this contest, the model can be of any Sports Car from any era. After-market detail and scratch building is allowed. In the Online Contest forum of the message board, each contestant will create a unique thread titled in the topic box by the following heads: Manufacturer, Subject, First Name, Last Name. Each contestant can enter only one kit per contest. *******YOU NO LONGER NEED THE CHRONOLOGICAL PICTURES OF THE BUILD******** Each contestant's first post MUST include a photo showing the following: Box top, Open box with all pieces still on the sprue, and a newspaper showing that day’s date. Any entries that do not follow this step will be disqualified! Each contestant’s final post will include 6 to 12 photos of the final build.
