| Welcome to the February issue of UberHobby! This month I would like to welcome David Creel, Ned Barnett, and Bill Newcomer to the UberHobby family. They are the first writers to submit work under the new gift certificate incentive program and will be receiving their Amazon gift certificate shortly. We would also like to give a big American “howdy” to AMPS Israel. They are a new AMPS chapter, and you can see their new website at http://www.amps-israel.org. Finally, I would like to share an observation with everyone. In the last couple of years several local hobby shops have gone out of business. So what does this mean? Is our hobby dying, or is it just that mail order has replaced the traditional “brick & mortar” hobby shop? Let us know what you think. Until next month, Keep those brushes clean! Herb Gara (IPMS/USA #45236) Editor in Chief, Uberhobby.com Fran Buckley Chief Copy Editor & Master Wordsmith. If you would like to submit your work, please click here for instructions. |

| Greetings! UberHobby is an online hobby magazine written for scale modelers by scale modelers. Unlike other magazines, UberHobby does not have a staff of professional writers. Instead our content is provided by you, the members of the scale modeling community. Within this tome you will find kit reviews, tips and tricks, and articles of general interest. You will also find information on new product releases, contests and conventions, and lists of clubs in your area. So have fun and enjoy! |
