archive that is available to the reader.

Also you agree to allow your work to be edited by Uberhobby for content, clarity, or
brevity.

Uberhobby reserves the right to deny the publication of any work for any reason.

Photos of your builds.
Kit and product reviews
Tips and how-to's
Photo journals of your builds, museum trips, conventions, and contests
Or whatever may be of interest to you and your fellow modelers.

                           
***How to submit your photos for the Builders Showcase***

1.Photographs should taken at as high a resolution as possible.
2.As a rule most cellphone cameras take poor pictures.
3.The background should be plain and uncluttered.
4.Include your first name, last name, city, and state.
5.Also include the kit manufacturer, scale, and kit topic(what is it a model of).

                                        
***How to submit your written work.***

Your work should be from 2 to 5 pages long, and written in one of the popular word
processing programs such as MS Word, Word Perfect, OpenOffice, iWork, or as a PDF.

The work should be original and does not appear in another periodical.

Photographs should be captioned. If the text references a photograph, that photo should
be numbered and referred to by that number in the text.

Your work must be submitted to UberHobby via e-mail.

Specific guidelines:

Tips, Tricks, and Ho-To's
The work should conform to the following outline:
   Introduction
   list of materials
   step 1
   photo of step 1
   step 2
   photo of step 2
   step X
   photo of step X
   conclusion.

Kit reviews.
1.Kit name, manufacturer, scale, cost.
2.First impressions of the kit, how many sprue/parts, condition of the parts, etc.
3.Ease or complexity of construction.
4.Describe any special procedures you had to follow or steps you had to take.
5.How good are the decals?
6.Impression of finished kit.
7.Include pictures of the kit before construction, and after the kit is finished.
8.Overall rating 1-5, 1 = poor, 3 = average, 5 = excellent.

Hobby Shop Review.
1.Include pictures of storefront, staff, interior.
2.Address of shop.
3.Brief Background.
4.What do you like about the shop?
5.Does the shop have a specialty?
